Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Bloom (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Eligibility

Bloom is intended for adults aged 17 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are using Bloom with the knowledge and consent of your partner. You may not use Bloom if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

Permitted use

Bloom is designed for couples to explore connection and intimacy together in a safe, private environment. You agree to use the App respectfully and in a way that honors your partner's boundaries and comfort level.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Bloom to:

  • Harass, pressure, coerce, or manipulate another person
  • Share content involving minors or non-consenting individuals
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • Circumvent any security features or content restrictions
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Distribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App or its content

Content disclaimer

Bloom provides prompts, questions, and challenges across various comfort levels. This content is intended for consenting adult couples and is provided for entertainment and personal enrichment purposes only. Bloom is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling, therapy, or medical advice. If you or your partner are experiencing relationship difficulties, please seek qualified professional help.

Purchases & refunds

Card packs and other digital content are available as one-time in-app purchases. Bloom does not offer subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies:

  • Apple — request refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google — request refunds through the Google Play Store within 48 hours of purchase

We do not process or store any payment information directly.

Intellectual property

All content, design, graphics, and code within Bloom are the property of the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written permission.

Termination

You may stop using Bloom at any time by deleting the App from your device, which permanently deletes all associated data. You can also unpair from your partner at any time through the App's settings. Since Bloom does not use accounts, there is no account to terminate on our end.

Warranty disclaimer

Bloom is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Bloom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability for any claims related to Bloom shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €10.00, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer of Bloom from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Bloom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bloom after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
